Fall 2002 CARAMEL Award

RAMÓN NEGRÓN
web-slinger/minion
www.ArtMosaic.com

Aprés our Caramel Award to NYFew.com in April ( see http://www.atelier-RC.com/Atelier.RC/CaramelArchive-NYFew.html ), on Friday, 12 April 2002, I received the card pictured below from one Ramón Negrón whom I've never met but who just happens to be the webmaster to www.michaeltice.com. (Where we once had dumb, dumb and dumber, we can now add DUNBEST) Can't show the front because the letigious Mr. Tice, not content with WANNABE ARTIST, is also WANNABE LEGAL FLEAGLE.

I assume that the boat I "missed" refers to the show the invitation is for, the one Lawrence Day's mother procured for the NYFew triumvirate at Boston's French Library. Singularly, Señor Negrón cannot even get as much as a simple Spanish phrase like "love and kisses" straight, he's so far out of his league. Where does he come off even trying? Some mouthpiece, this guy!!!

Please treat yourselves to following the affore mentioned links, an experience in bad taste. Just for laughs...

SO...,
Señor Negrón...,
here's my reply!

For your misguided assumptions about missed opportunities and your ignorant, arrogant, meddlesome, noxiously nautical, nauseating expletive "seems you're always missing the boat" and your vain atempt at a language you obviously do not master, wishing you the very best of luck in your quest for nothing but the worst in Art and company, this day we award
you the coveted fall CARAMEL in the hope that, from here on, you will learn to mind your own business, know who you deal with, not get caught with your pants down, do no one else's bidding and not follow the lead of those less informed than you.

"YOU HAVE THE NERVE TO DRESS UP A TURD AND CALL IT A CARAMEL"

...is the inspiration for our less than inspiring monthly award. Here we do NOT discriminate. There are no sacred cows. High and low beware!

Our CARAMEL statuette is derived from the traditional cagané figure or 'shitter' from the northeastern Spanish region of Cataluña where no manger scene can be found without one. It's attributes are far more prosaic here.
